Meet Our Therapy Dogs

The four-legged members of our team

Our practice is named after a golden retriever — and she still greets clients at our Denver office. Meet Lola and Graham, the therapy dogs who bring comfort, warmth, and a little well-timed humor to the work we do together.

Lola · Certified Professional Therapy Dog

Lola — the Lola in Lola & Me

Lola is a certified Professional Therapy Dog of Colorado and the inspiration behind our name. She has been working in the field for nine years and has been training since she was only a few months old. Today she works alongside our founder, Hannah Snider, joining sessions to support clinical interventions and the therapeutic goals you and your therapist set together. Her main job is to offer comfort, support, and love — and she takes it seriously, though she loves making her clients laugh along the way in order to earn all the treats. Lola always looks forward to meeting new people and is excited to meet you. She can never have too many best friends.

Whether you need a fluffy buddy to share your victories with or a cuddle when you're feeling down, Graham is here for you, wagging his tail and giving you all his love. What a session with a therapy dog looks like

A session with a therapy dog is still therapy, first and foremost. A trained therapist leads every session, and the dog works alongside them to support your goals. Lola, our certified professional therapy dog, can join sessions; Graham, our Bernese Mountain Dog in training, joins select sessions under supervision as part of his training. There's no script and nothing you're required to do — some clients talk with a warm head resting on their lap, some pause to pet a soft ear between hard topics, and some simply like having a friendly, nonjudgmental presence in the room. That presence can help ease stress, open up conversation, and make it a little easier to sit with difficult feelings.

  • Therapist-led, dog-supported

Your clinician guides every session; the dog is there to add comfort, connection, and calm.

  • At your pace

You choose how much or how little you interact — petting, play, or simply sharing the room.

  • A softer way in

The nonjudgmental presence of an animal can make it easier to open up and explore sensitive topics.

  • Always optional

Prefer a session without a dog in the room? Just let us know — dog-free sessions are always available.
