I am originally from Milwaukee, WI (Go Pack Go)! I attended Montana State University, where I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in Leadership.

When I left Montana, I knew I wanted to help people and decided doing so within the legal system would be a great start! So I enrolled in law school at Elon University School of Law in Greensboro, North Carolina. During my first and only year there, I realized law was not going to help people the way I wanted to.

It was over the next few years that I lost people to suicide, watched our society struggle with individuals being impacted by addiction, loss, depression, PTSD, anxiety, and other difficult mental health issues, that led me to realize social work and therapy were my calling.

I enrolled at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work and earned my Master’s degree in June 2019 with a concentration in Mental Health, with certificates in Animal Assisted Social Work & School Social Work. Since then, I have trained in multiple different treatment styles, such as: PACT Couples Therapy, Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), anxiety & depression management and tools, somatic therapies, mindfulness, and many others.

Through the years, I have earned many certifications in different forms of therapy that I believe contribute to my well-rounded therapeutic style. I am currently working towards my Perinatal Mental Health Certification in order to help individuals and couples struggling with infertility, postpartum anxiety & depression, pregnancy loss, and normalizing parenthood.

My passion is to continue learning and utilizing different modalities to better serve my clients.

Here are a few institutions that I have had the pleasure of working with: College Track Aurora, Denver Health School Based Clinic at Manual High School, McAuliffe Middle School and East High School, Mental Health Center of Denver, Colorado High School Charter, and Strive Prep Lake Middle School as the Director of Mental Health in their Affective Needs Center.

I opened Lola & Me Therapy at the peak of the COVID- 19 pandemic on May 4th, 2020. I realized through these hardest of times, Lola & I needed to do more to help our community.

On June 1st 2021, we shifted to focusing solely on Lola & Me Therapy, full time. Starting in 2023, we shifted again into a growing group practice with multiple clinicians, and therapy dogs, to better serve, and are excited to continue this journey!
