Frequently Asked Questions

Who will I be meeting with?

Our clinicians bring different specialties and approaches. During your free consultation, we’ll learn what you want to work on and help connect you with the clinician whose experience and style best fit your goals.

How do I set up a consultation?

Schedule a free 15-minute consultation through our Book With Us page, call or text us at (720) 575-3453, send us a message on Instagram, or use our contact form.

Do you accept my insurance?

Lola & Me Therapy is a private-pay, out-of-network practice and does not bill insurance directly. We can verify your out-of-network benefits and help estimate your possible reimbursement. Medicaid cannot be used for any services at Lola & Me Therapy. We can provide a superbill, or Mentaya can submit claims on your behalf for a 5% fee per submitted session.

How does out-of-network reimbursement work?

We do not bill insurance directly, but we are happy to verify your out-of-network benefits and help you understand what your estimated session cost may be after reimbursement. Many clients receive full or partial reimbursement through one of these options:

Superbill: After each session, we can provide an itemized receipt with the information your insurance company needs to process an out-of-network claim. You submit the superbill directly, and your insurance company reimburses you according to your plan’s out-of-network benefits.

Mentaya: Mentaya can submit claims directly to your insurance company on your behalf and charges a 5% fee per submitted session.

Your reimbursement depends on your individual plan. We are happy to help you explore your options and choose the approach that works best for you.

Can I use my HSA to pay for sessions?

Yes. We accept HSA payments. Please upload your HSA card through the secure client portal before your first session. Clinicians do not accept payment cards or documentation in person.

Do you accept Crime Victims Compensation?

We accept Crime Victims Compensation for clients in Denver, Arapahoe, Adams, Broomfield, Gilpin, and Jefferson Counties, including clients in Centennial. If you think this may apply, mention it during your consultation and we will walk through the process together.

How long are sessions?

Most individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes. We also offer 90- and 120-minute sessions when additional time is helpful. The best session length depends on the type of therapy, who is involved, and your goals, so your clinician will personalize the recommendation with you.
