Parent support sessions in Denver, Colorado

Parenting does not come with a manual—and it was never meant to be figured out alone. In parent support sessions, you and Hannah work together on your parenting goals in an authentic, nonjudgmental, brave, and safe space.

What to Expect

What are parent support sessions?

Parent support sessions are a collaborative process where you and a licensed therapist work together on your parenting goals. Some parents arrive with clear objectives—managing behavioral concerns or improving communication, for example. Others know that something at home needs to change but are not sure where to begin. That is okay. We start where you feel most comfortable.

With Hannah, you can explore past experiences that may shape your current parenting style and practice tools for managing parenting stress, communication, boundaries, and family connection. Sessions can focus on day-to-day challenges, a particular concern, or longer-term growth.

Why It Helps

What are the benefits of parent support sessions?

Improved communication

A safe space to look at communication patterns at home—expressing yourself clearly, listening actively, and building open, respectful conversations across the family.

Conflict resolution

Practical tools for handling disagreements constructively, so conflict with your children can move toward understanding instead of distance.

Stronger emotional connection

Support reconnecting with your children emotionally by exploring feelings, building trust, and deepening empathy on both sides.

Behavioral guidance

Structured strategies for challenging behaviors, including setting healthy boundaries and encouraging positive behavior at home.

Personal and family growth

Work to align your goals as a parent with your family’s needs, supporting your own growth alongside a balanced, healthy home environment.

Confidence in parenting

A tailored action plan can help you face decisions and parenting challenges with more steadiness—and more trust in yourself as a parent.
