Together we look at the stories you carry about yourself and your life, and work to re-author the ones that no longer serve you.
Meet Your Therapist
Tori works with individuals and couples across Denver and Colorado, blending warmth and evidence-based care to help you build on the strengths you already have.
Tori's Story
I was born and raised in the great state of Colorado. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology, with minors in Public Health, Education, and Sociology, from the University of Colorado Boulder (Sko Buffs!).
After graduating, I lived briefly in Austin, Texas, where I began my work in mental health—until COVID-19 had different plans that led me back home, and back to school, to pursue my dream of becoming a therapist. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver, and since then I have trained in multiple treatment styles, including Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, attachment work, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, and practical tools for managing anxiety and depression.
I have always been passionate about helping others navigate life's challenges, which is what led me to a career in clinical mental health counseling. Through my work, I have found people to be incredibly resilient. I believe everyone has strengths, and I love empowering people to start making changes in their lives. I take a collaborative approach, partnering with my clients to create impactful goals and move forward on the journey toward healing.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy being outside, traveling, skiing, cooking, reading, and spending time with loved ones—including my pup, Ruby. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you on your path.
How Tori Works
My approach is client-centered and tailored to each person's needs—a blend of traditional psychotherapy and evidence-based modalities. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health; we will find what works for you.
